Watch This With Rick Ramos

It doesn't get a whole hell of a lot more personal than this . . . On this week's episode of WatchThis W/RickRamos, Rick and Ibrahim sit down in The Fortress of Ultimate Darkness to discuss The Greatest Music this country has ever produced (that's an opinion, but it happens to be the truth). Take a listen as we go down the rabbit hole of one of our greatest passions.  We discuss the origins of The Blues - The African Influence, Slavery, Call & Response, Prison Chain Gangs, The Mississippi Delta, the mass emigration to Chicago and the surrounding Northern cities, and - of course - Selling One's Soul.  We take a look at The 7-Part, Martin Scorsese produced PBS series The Blues as well as numerous literary and non-fiction works that detail the lives of Robert Johnson, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, and more.  A true labor of love that spans three episodes and slightly over 6 hours, we have a lot to say and hope you are interested in taking this ride with us. As always we thank you for your continued love & support. Questions, Comments, Issues, and Suggestions can be directed to gondoramos@yahoo.com - Thanks & Love.
