Watch This With Rick Ramos

On this week's episode of WatchThis w/RickRamos, Ibrahim & I continue our lengthy discussion of the Vampire subgenre.  On this episode we touch on a number of different films, but we focus on Abel Ferrara's THE ADDICTION from 1995, starring Lili Taylor, Edie Falco, Anabella Sciorra, and Christopher Walken.  We continue the theme of metaphorical drug addiction in the vampire film with a look at Tony Scott's 1983 directorial debut THE HUNGER.  We round out our examination of this part of the genre by focusing on Jim Jarmusch's 2013 masterpiece (my humble description) ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE.  Yeah, it's a lengthy episode, and it's going to take a bigger commitment than I usually expect from our audience, but I think it's - ultimately - a very rewarding discussion.  Or maybe it's just a couple of assholes going on about how much we love movies.  Either one works.  Take a listen and let us know what you think at gondoramos@yahoo.com. As always, thanks for the love; Thanks for the support.
